Kicking off on May 18th, the Coös Frost Heave is a 15.5 mi (Short Course) or 27.5 mi loop (Full Course) starting in Jericho State Park and extending through scenic Berlin, NH.

  • The Frost Heave is a fundraiser to support the Coös Cycling Club's trail maintenance efforts and active youth cycling programs, and 100% of proceeds (and sponsor dollars) go to the trails and the kids.

  • This is gnarly, muddy fun for all — and EVERYONE is welcome, from party pacers to hardos.

  • Race Categories are gender-specific, within Under 17, Under 19, Adult Open, and Masters Divisions.

  • Gravel or MTB? It's your call.

The course is mostly class IV road used by ATVs in the non-winter months, with some smoother terrain interspersed. Expect lots of rugged climbs and equally rugged descents. In between pedal strokes, you'll be taking in the mountain views and impressive scenery this course has to offer.
